Hello internet friends! Welcome to my soon-to-be account of my journey through law school. While it is still summer, my first day of law school orientation (August 14th) is just around the corner! I had a spur of the moment idea just the other day to blog about my law school experiences. I hope that this blog is enjoyable for those who care about me, or are interested in going to law school, or are just curious about the whole law school phenomenon.
Although law school doesn’t start for another month, I’ve already amassed a collection of books about law school ranging from an autobiography of a Harvard law student to a book on how to read like a lawyer. In the next week or so, I’ll blog about the books I’ve read and the steps I’ve taken as a pre-law student.
Until then, I’ll just quickly introduce myself. My name is Emily and I’m a 22 year old recent graduate of the University of British Columbia. I’m currently back in the United States gearing up for law school and enjoying the few carefree days that I have left. I love a great hike (which my state offers a lot of), watching the movie Up, looking at cute corgis online, and eating all the pasta I can stomach. I hope to become a criminal lawyer once I graduate from law school and then maybe even run for office someday!
That’s all for now, but I’ll be back soon. See y’all next post!
